Philly keeps getting better and better, especially when it comes to easy, night time fun along the water. Spruce Street Harbor Park (SSHP) and Summerfest continue to grow every year, and it’s really become a fun destination for both locals and tourists.

One of my favorite ways to explore different parts of the city has become taking pictures with my fellow PHLBloggers. (To catch up on our other posts, click away: RittenhouseButcher Bar)

For this photo outing, I was joined by EM of LARK+LACE, Pri of Paint The Town Chic, Melissa of Skinny Affair, and Chelsea of Organized Mess. All of us individually chose our own summer trends to show off for this shoot, and make sure that you check their sites for their outfit details!

There are so many fun little spots at both Spruce Street Harbor Park and Summerfest, including the carousel pictured above, carnival games (pictured below), a ferries wheel, and of course ice cream!

EM and I about to play some games! Spoiler alert: we both lost.

Looking back on this shoot, I think we really just wanted an excuse to hang out in a fun spot and get ice cream. I knew there were a ton of reasons that I enjoy hanging out with these ladies!

For my summer style look, I have the details and links below, but in addition to that, I’ll give you some fun facts about my outfit! My shoes are a new favorite. They’re Circus by Sam Edelman – translation: Sam Edelman quality and style but for SIGNIFICANTLY less in price! Totally a win!

My top and shorts are both purchases from LOFT. I’m not usually into wearing shorts, but these I like! They’re not too short, have some sheen to them, plus pockets that can actually be used!

I have been on a quest for a cross body bag that was the right size, shape, and color, and believe it or not, I found it at Target. It’s holding up pretty well, considering the fact that I use it almost every day! I’ll keep you updated on that.

My necklace is an unusual find, originally from ModCloth, and was a present from my sister (2ish years ago?). I receive compliments every time I wear it. It’s the definition of a statement necklace, and now that geometric jewelry is so in right now, this necklace shines even more.

My sunnies are from Styles for Miles, a mobile boutique located in New Jersey. Super glam, and also not too expensive.

My ombre hair is actually a result of not getting my hair dyed/highlighted in (pauses to think…continues to think…gives up trying to remember) a while.

So, go check out Philly! Make the most of these gorgeous days and nights, and explore the city!
