Happy Friday!! I hope you all had a wonderful week, and that you have fun plans for the weekend! To kick off your fun weekend, you can read about my friend, Giovanna! Giovanna is this week’s Fabulous Female for my #girlboss(es) series! Giovanna is the wife of one of my oldest friends, Nathan (not to be confused with my photographer, Nate (Nater)). She is the mom to three absolutely precious little ones, who are just the cutest (quick – scroll down to her picture below, because it’s without a doubt the cutest picture you will see all day!!)! Her kids are the perfect ages to play with my two nephews and my son, so it’s really special to see that our lifelong friendship with their family is continuing with all of our children too!

As always, I hope you enjoy reading!
Mrs. Giovanna Biles

I have been a certified nurse midwife for about 3.5 years.   I provide women with obstetrical care- prenatal, delivery and postpartum, as well as some care in women’s health.  Before becoming a CNM, I was a labor and delivery nurse for 7 years.

1.  What would you list as your best quality?

My best quality is that I am very compassionate about what I do for my career.  I absolutely love what I do and want to provide women with the best care possible.

2.   When do you feel your strongest?

I feel strongest when I am helping a mommy bring her beautiful child into this world.  It can be very challenging and difficult at times, but in the end it is the most rewarding part of what I do.

3.     On your most difficult days, what keeps you going?

My children and husband keep me going at difficult times.  No matter how bad a day, they will always bring a smile to my face.  I can always count on my friends as well to help lift me on those bad days.

4.     What do you value the most in yourself and your family?

Honesty.  I truly believe being honest is one of the most important qualities someone can have.

5.     So far, what have been your greatest accomplishment(s) in your life and/or career?

One of my greatest accomplishments is having completed my goal of being a CNM.  I went back to school when my first son was a year old.  I also had my second son while in school.  It was far from easy, but I finished the program and achieved the goal I set to accomplish.
Another accomplishment are my children.  I always dreamed of being a mommy and now I am a mommy to 3 beautiful children who amaze me every day!

6.     What advice would you give to your younger self?

Life isn’t always easy, so live it with no regrets!

7.   What do you look forward to the most?

I look forward to spending time with my family.  I have a crazy schedule, so I try to take advantage of time I have with them.

Sharing is caring!
